Allyson Putman joined Hawthorne Strategy Group as Senior Account Manager in January 2017. In this role, Allyson puts her communications skills to work as project manager and day-to-day lead for a variety of clients, helping them set and reach their goals. Approaching each project like an exciting challenge, Allyson values tapping into her team and her own diverse experience to present unique solutions for Hawthorne’s clients.
Prior to joining the team at Hawthorne, Allyson worked at FleishmanHillard where she supported both consumer and public affairs clients. She cut her teeth working on the award-winning Get Covered Illinois campaign, which was named PRWeek’s Public Sector Campaign of the Year in 2015 and runner up in 2016. She has since played an integral role in the development and implementation of communications programs, including campaign launch support, message development, media relations, influencer engagement and grassroots mobilization on behalf of Illinois Office of Tourism, Presence Health, AbbVie, Life Cereal, Cap’n Crunch, Hyatt, Khan Academy and more.
Allyson graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science in public relations and minor in gender and diversity studies. On the weekends, you can find Allyson listening to live music or reading.
