Beth Keshishian began collaborating with Hawthorne in 2016 on Acelity, a global wound care and regenerative medicine company. Her work spans public policy, issues management, executive visibility, product communications, advocacy relations and media relations. Beth is a seasoned healthcare professional with 25 years of healthcare communications experience specializing in media strategy and executive visibility. She began her career at the U.S. Food & Drug Administration’s Office of Public Affairs, where she gained a clear understanding of FDA regulatory policy, public health and the media.
She combines her public and private sector experience to counsel clients and create strategy that meets business objectives and elevates visibility among priority audiences for U.S. and global clients in support of corporate, product and public health initiatives.
Before Hawthorne, Beth led the U.S. Media Practice for inVentiv Health PR Group overseeing a team of 14 media specialists. There she spilt her time between account work and team development and growth. Work included NovoNordisk Corporate, Boehringer Ingelheim’s PRADAXA and PRAXBIND, and Baxalata Oncology. Prior to inVentiv, Beth was SVP, Healthcare Media Relations at Weber Shandwick, heading up the U.S. media team. Clients included Cubist Pharmaceuticals and the Broad Institute. Beth joined Weber from Hill & Knowlton (H&K), where she established the healthcare media team to provide clients and account teams with media strategy and support. Before H&K, Beth was Team Leader at Biosector 2 (B2) and led the Millennium Pharmaceuticals account, including the launch of VELCADE.
Beth graduated from Boston University with a BA in Art History. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and two mini dachshunds Ollie and Jasper. She enjoys traveling, exploring her neighborhood looking for new restaurants and cooking. She likes to read, go to concerts and discover new indie bands.
