A physical representation of Chicago Children's Choir's mission to unite youth from diverse backgrounds, the annual Paint the Town Red concert brings together singers from across the organization's programs to perform in one of Chicago's most iconic venues, Jay Pritzker Pavilion. This year, 4,800 of Chicago's youth gathered in Millennium Park to perform an array of original, classical, folk, gospel, world music and more.
The story was distributed by the Associated Press and reached more than 100 publications. In addition, The Chicago Crusader, a lifestyle focused publication geared towards the African American community, shared a preview to the concert.
In broadcast, the concert was featured on WGN-TV, WFLD-TV, WBBM-TV, WMAQ-TV, and WBBM Radio.
