Gene Reineke moves to Chairman and Founder
As Hawthorne enters its seventh year, there is a lot to be proud of. We’ve grown from a kitchen table and team of one to an office in the Chicago Board of Trade and a team of fifteen. We’ve worked with great clients in Chicago, across the country, and across the globe. We’ve won awards on their behalf - and in between, we've created a culture that is focused on doing great work and delivering meaningful, measurable results.
We are pleased to announce that, effective February 1, Cynthia McCafferty will be President and CEO as well as managing partner and Gene Reineke will become Chairman and Founder.
There have been a number of turning points for the company. Becoming a woman-owned business is an exciting next step in our evolution as a firm. This leadership transition is the next step for the firm, which will continue to benefit from the experience of not only Gene and Cynthia, but the other senior leaders including Marj Halperin, Wendi Taylor Nations, and Hud Englehart.
Our commitment and focus on delivering great client work and being a best-in-class employer remains the same.
