Brad Goodman

At Hawthorne Strategy Group, Brad Goodman is committed to proactively building and protecting client reputations. He develops trust with clients and stakeholders while leading them to handle their day-to-day challenges and meet long-term strategic goals. A passionate newsreader and news viewer, Brad enjoys working with journalists on behalf of our clients.

Brad joins Hawthorne Strategy Group after nearly 20 years of client service and reputation management in political campaigns and public affairs. For over a decade, Brad ran his own nationally recognized firm. During that time, he oversaw national voter outreach for large political non-profits, served as general consultant to the winning presidential candidate in Guyana, and led hundreds of campaigns in sharing their message effectively.

Previously, Brad served the George W. Bush Administration in the White House Office of Political Affairs and later as an on the ground contact for the Administration while serving as Political Director to the U.S. Speaker of the House.

Brad’s work in campaigns and public affairs earned him multiple Pollie Awards from the American Association of Political Consultants. He also has served as a panel speaker for events sponsored by Campaigns and Elections Magazine.

An advocate for people with diseases of the liver and gastrointestinal system and organ transplant patients, Brad has had the privilege of speaking with medical students at the University of Chicago’s Pritzker School of Medicine about the doctor-patient relationship. He was also a speaker for the Gastrointestinal Research Foundation Gala, which raised over $1,000,000 for scientific research for UChicago Hospital’s Section of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition.

Brad is a lifelong suburbanite, diehard Chicago Cubs fan, and avid music lover. He is the proud husband to Rebecca and dad to Charlotte, Rachel, and Harper.

Education: University of Illinois at Springfield. B.A. in Political Studies.
